Description

This bursary is to set up to assist individual members in their personal netball development goals through education and opportunity.

Aims

Kent Netball is seeking to assist individuals in their personal development through:

  • netball related conference, education, workshops, training and re-accreditation

  • accessing netball related opportunities

 

Eligibility

Individuals must:

  • be members of England Netball and Kent Netball

  • come within the Kent Netball administrative remit

  • hold valid necessary qualifications

 

Conditions

Kent Netball will only consider applications that are:

  • signed and complete with the appropriate documentation

 

In addition:

  • a bursary will not be awarded for umpiring courses

  • a bursary will not be awarded for coaching courses.  Please see the coaching subsidy available through Kent Netball for this

  • not all opportunities may be eligible however relevant opportunities may include elements of the Netball Performance Programme over and above the regular delivery of the County Academy

  • recipients of the Bursary are required to support Kent Netball in its delivery.  You may be asked to participate in Kent Netball events and programmes. 

  • the Bursary is to be used solely towards financing the items as set out in the approved application and under no circumstances will it be used for any other purpose.

  • maximum one application item/course/event per year.

  • You will be required to provide a 6 month review of the project upon request

  

Provisos

This scheme is:

  • available annually.

  • subject to funding and is reviewed annually.

  • Kent Netball reserves the right to reclaim all or part of the grant if the above conditions are not complied with.

If you meet the criteria set out above you can click the 'Apply Online' button and complete your details on the online form.  Upon submission your form is sent to the Treasurer who will consider the application.  They will take your application to committee to secure approval (or otherwise) and so it may be 6 weeks before you hear back from us.
