England Netball Goalden Globes
The Goalden Globe Awards are England Netball’s way of recognising the outstanding achievements and dedication of its volunteers. Nominations are made each year in a variety of categories. Regional winners are chosen who will then be put forward as National nominees.

2010 L&SE Goalden Globe Winners

  • Officials Award - Clare Cunningham
    for an outstanding contribution to officiating in netball
  • Inclusive Netball Volunteer Award - Val Shaw
    for an outstanding contribution to the development of netball which is inclusive to minority groups
  • Muriel McNally Award - David Roche
    for an outstanding contribution to the development of netball at grassroots level for 10 years or more

National winners will be announced at the 2010 Goalden Globe Awards in September.

2009 L&SE Goalden Globe Winners

 

  • Coach of the Year - Anita Hollman
    for an outstanding contribution to the development and progression of athletes
  • Rose Award - Marlene Wander
    for an outstanding achievement to EN by promoting and developing netball to a wider audience
  • Grassroots Coach - Lynne Gray
    for an outstanding contribution to getting more people engaging, growing and staying in netball

2009 National Goalden Globe Winners

  • Coach of the Year - Anita Hollman
  • Rose Award - Marlene Wander
  • Long Service Award - Roger Perham

Kent Netball Annual Awards

Recipients of the 2009 Kent Netball Awards were:

  • The Joyce Crust Award - David Roche
    for services to Netball in Kent
  • The Needham Rider Salver - not presented
    for services to Youth Netball in Kent
  • The Marge Millar Award - Rainham School for Girls
    presented to organisations involved in the development of netball
  • Life Membership - none presented
